Strategies for learning

We want your learning to be solid and fast at the same time!
When the student has a very basic level, before concentrating on memorizing words without having the infrastructure, create the grammatical bases on which it will be easier to store new words, comparing one language with the other and finding a logic and a simple explanation to the structures of the sentences. The first phase will then be to understand «how the language works», so that it will be a more automated process and with less effort to remember the meaning of the words; for this last task we also have different effective strategies involving the 4 skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening).

Speaking

The most important skill to reinforce your knowledge is speaking. Speaking with awareness means applying grammar rules until they become automatic. It may be difficult at first because it involves connecting several grammatical rules at once and using acquired vocabulary. However, in each conversation it will be stimulating to experience more fluid and grammatically correct language, as well as to consolidate vocabulary and its connections.

Writing

This is not a case that is considered one of the 4 fundamental skills. Imagining how a word you hear or say is written is important for its meaning, its pronunciation and for a deeper knowledge of the language. That is why from the first classes but also in the more advanced ones the emphasis will be on writing.

Reading

When you read correctly, your pronunciation will sound like that of a native speaker. We have experienced that students at advanced levels are still not clear on the pronunciation of some diphthongs that are studied from the first class. Improving this aspect is very enriching. In addition, in the first classes we will indicate the position of the mouth for new sounds that do not exist in the student’s native language.

Listening

Listening and reading at the same time to make sense of what we hear greatly accelerates learning. We have implemented several strategies to make practicing the language fun and entertaining and to make it part of your daily habits.

Multimedia

Different strategies customized for the different tastes of each student. Do you like to listen to music? Do you like to watch movies or series? Do you like to watch Youtube?We have elaborated tactics to make learning a new language entertaining.

Developing habits

Discipline and hard work are fundamental.Use «empty» moments to learn «passively», such as while taking a shower, while having breakfast or lunch, while in your transport, etc., i.e. add it to habits that you already like so that they become even more enjoyable.
